STAMFORD, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont underwent successful hip replacement surgery on Wednesday morning at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Stamford, according to an update from his office. Lamont is currently recovering at home.
"His medical team says that he is on track for a speedy recovery, and over the next couple of days he plans to rest at home while working remotely," said Max Reiss, director of communications for Lamont, in a news release.
Lamont, 68, underwent a similar procedure on his opposite hip about a year ago, Reiss said.
