Hi all, My name is Rachel. I am a dog trainer with 5 years experience, and I recently moved to Polson. I have experience working with all types of breeds; Great Danes, Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, German Shepherds, Huskies, Terriers, etc. From all my experiences with dogs of different ages and breeds, I understand that successful training comes from taking into account a dog’s individual personality and breed, and creating a training plan around it. I have also had experience working with people-reactive dogs, dog-reactive dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, overprotective and territorial dogs, etc., and I can also provide basic training. I was a certified dog trainer through a previous employer and was in charge of scheduling and conducting their puppy classes. The training methods I use are positive reinforcement, which has been proven numerous times through research and experimentation to have a high success rate. I have achieved excellent results many times in my experience training even the most difficult dogs. They become eager and happy to learn as they are being challenged mentally to solve obstacles for rewards (food, play, affection etc). Through this training a lifelong bond will form and continue to grow between you and your pup, and they will become a perfect family companion.
