STAMFORD - Crash (Jackknifed) on I-95 Northbound at Exit 8. The Off ramp is closed. Reported Wednesday, January 5 at 9:10 am. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Fairfield County until 10 a.m. Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations of a light glaze. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. The 7:28 AM train (#1837) from Danbury to Stamford has been canceled due to operational issues. The next train (#1841) will be departing Danbury at 7:51 AM.— Metro-North Railroad.
