Press release from the Loudoun County Government: January 4, 2022 Area livestock producers are invited to a demonstration of Virginia State University's mobile processing unit sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Loudoun County Sheep Producers Association. As the demand for locally grown and specialty products increases, mobile units have the potential to help local farmers by reducing transportation costs. The demonstration will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Virginia Tech's Middleburg Agriculture Research & Extension Center, 5527 Sullivans Mill Rd, Middleburg. Producers are invited to tour the unit during that time. A fabrication demonstration is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The inclement weather date is January 27, 2022.
