I have a special needs dog named Lola. I rescued Lola almost 3 years ago when she found us walking our other two dogs on the street. Despite our best efforts to find her a home, we welcomed her to our family and set off on a long adventure. Unfortunately Lola went through a heat cycle before we could get her spayed and it triggered severe aggression in her. She has very high anxiety and is extremely dog reactive. She is so absolutely sweet but with a one year old child in the home, I am too nervous to continue to live with her. If anyone has any resources for fosters or people willing and able to take a dog with behavioral needs please let me know. Ideally she will go to someone with time and energy to spend with her. She does best on her own. We love Lola and our hearts are broken. Any resources or ideas would be so appreciated! Thank you!!
