How's Your Quality Of Life In MOCO? Tell The County In Its Survey

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — County officials are asking residents to let them know what works and what doesn't in Montgomery County. In the biennial survey, questions ask about county services, quality of life, amenities and facilities and more. The survey has been mailed out to a random 5,000 households, but the survey is open to all residents online. The last survey was conducted in 2019. "I encourage all residents of Montgomery County to take this survey," said County Executive Marc Elrich in a news release. "We want to ensure that the feedback we get is inclusive and reflects the County's diversity and we want everyone to have an opportunity to share their opinions with County Government on the services we provide. The pandemic required us to make some significant changes to the way we deliver some services. This survey is one way for us to assess how we are doing, what people think of the changes we made, and identify areas for improvement." Some of the questions ask survey-takers to rank how Montgomery County is as a place of work, how the sense of community is, or how it is as a place to retire. A county news release says that the survey helps officials make decisions about budgeting and policy decisions. See the survey here.
