Harford County Public Schools Secure More COVID-19 Test Clinics

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Harford County Public Schools announced it has finalized plans with MAKO Medical for pop-up COVID-19 screening clinics for students and staff. These clinics will occur over the next two weeks. According to the school district, the pop-up COVID-19 screening clinics are for students and staff throughout HCPS who are asymptomatic. In other words, they are not showing signs of COVID-19, have not been identified as a close contact and who choose to be tested. Students and staff must register through their "home" school or office link listed below. There are three pop-up clinic locations throughout the county: Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Aberdeen High School from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Fallston High School from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at C. Milton Wright High School from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.School officials remind staff members or students who are sick to not register for, or attend a pop-up clinic. Instead they should stay home and consult with their doctor. COVID-19 symptoms include fever of 100.0° or higher, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea or vomiting, new onset of severe headache (especially with fever), or new loss of taste or smell.
