Press release from Johnson City Parks & Recreation: January 3, 2022 Memorial Park Community Center, 510 Bert St., welcomes individuals with special needs and their siblings to participate in Winter Wonderland Craft Night. Free and open to all ages, this event will be held Thursday, Jan. 13 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Participants will be able to sip on hot cocoa while completing two winter crafts. Caregivers are welcome, as no personal care will be provided. Staff includes a certified therapeutic recreation specialist. Register by Jan. 12 in person at MPCC or by calling 423-434-5749.
