Make and take holiday craft for middle and high schoolers. Creativity Abounds is an intergenerational program offering various programs to help people increase their creativity.  Whether you are a visual artist, writer, musician, dancer, designer, or scientist, Creativity Abounds will help you unlock your hidden potential!   December 21st: Winter Coasters The gift giving season is here! Middle and High School students can book a 30 minute Creativity Abounds appointment to make winter themed tile coasters that are perfect for gift giving or adding to your own bedroom decor. Appointments will take place in the library, please check-in at the Children's desk. All materials will be provided for participants to make 2 tile coasters. If you want specific photos, images, stickers, etc. feel free to bring them with you (tiles measure 4x4). January 19th: Modge Podge Picture Frame You've taken a million photos over break, now it's time to display your favorite one. Middle and High School students can book a 30 minute Creativity Abounds appointment to make a wooden Modge Podge picture frame. Appointments will take place in the library, please check-in at the Children's desk. All materials will be provided for participants to make 1 photo frame. If your favorite photo is digital, Children's department staff members can print it on regular paper for this event. Due to COVID concerns, appointments will be kept to their specified time frame. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. Only registered MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS will be permitted in the craft area, sorry parents and younger siblings. Material kits are limited, if your plans change and you can no longer attend, please cancel your reservation through Eventbrite.
