The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the department personnel and maintaining the organization and fulfillment of the Picking Module and other picking locations. Oversee warehouse inventory accuracy, replenishment and put away of canceled, returns and extra items. Assist in investigating inventory problems, find the root cause and resolve the inventory issue. Train and hold personnel accountable for performance and attendance, per company policy. Organize, direct, oversee a team and their daily duties. As well as maintain the security, safety and well being of all within the building; to include the accountability of all company equipment and product at night. Essential Job Functions 1. Oversee and direct a team for put away, replenishment, cycle count and inventory control. 2. Ensure timely processing of put away of products from returns, canceled orders and extras. 3. Manage replenishment system to ensure product demand is being filled and that min/max quantities are appropriate. 4. Daily monitoring and cleanup of specific locations and tasks in the WMS system. 5. Oversee inventory moves as directed within the warehouse to support picking/packing tasks. 6. Oversee cycle counts, reconciliations, and product searches as directed (to include root cause); to regulate inventory. 7. Oversee and assist in warehouse layout and product placement to ensure warehouse utilization. 8. Train inventory personnel in job specific tasks and hold them accountable for performance and attendance. 9. Other duties as assigned by area manager. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Ability to adapt to changing needs in the DC and the ability to lead others through changes. 2. Direct multiple people and tasks simultaneously, ability to prioritize tasks according to importance. 3. Strong team player that can train and work with others, to ensure success and managing people to get the best of their abilities. 4. Excellent communications skills. Needs to be able to read, write and communicate in English, Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. 5. Basic Computer, Math, Reading and Writing skills. 6. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand more than 80% of the time. 7. Attention to detail and well organized. Education and Experience 1. A high school degree or equivalent. 2. 5 years + experience as Supervisor or in a similar role, preferred in a DC environment. 3. Forklift Certified on Reach and Order Selector (willing to train/certify). Shift 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday- Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends. To include night shift differential pay.
