Press release from the City of Fountain Valley: January 4, 2022 Christmas Tree Pickup has been extended this year until January 14, 2022 due to COVID related staffing shortages. Please leave your non-artificial tree (free of ornaments and lights) out by your carts on your regularly scheduled collection day.  Trees must be shorter than 6 feet in length so please cut if taller than 6 feet. If your tree is not collected the week of January 3 - 7 on your service day, Republic will return the week of January 10 - 14 to collect it on your scheduled service day. You may also take your tree to Republic Services in Huntington Beach, located at 17121 Nichols Lane, Gate 4 to drop off free of charge.
