Part-time position available for Grounds Maintenance Crew, assisting in maintaining the landscape for a condominium association. Applicant should be able to take instruction and direction from Supervisor each day. Previous experience working on expansive grounds along with knowledge of health and safety requirements preferred. Ability to work in various weather conditions is expected. Duties include, but are not limited to raking, leaf blowing, leaf and debris removal, mowing, weed eating, plant bed edging, fertilizing, and weeding/watering of plants and trees throughout the grounds. Other tasks include mulching, planting, trimming, and pruning of plant beds. Daily job assignments can vary depending on needs of the community. Applicants must be able to interact professionally with co-workers, have a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and a great work ethic. Excellent customer service skills are expected when interacting with resident owners. Candidate should be comfortable on their feet most of the day, walking large distances, use of ladders with no height issues, power tools and gardening equipment. A good attendance record in their previous jobs is a must. Wage based on experience with possibility of increase after 90-day introductory period. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, a valid driver's license, and pass back ground check and drug testing. Part-time of 4-5 hours per day, M-F. Candidate can choose to work morning or afternoon hours, but once set cannot change schedule without prior approval of the property manager. Normal hours are 7:30 - 4:00 pm M-F, with occasional fluctuation due to weather conditions. Please submit resume with work experience.
