January 5th, 2022
A street lighting controller was struck by an automobile on the evening of January 3, 2022, near the intersection of Center Street and Mentor Avenue. As a result, overhead street lights on Center Street between Johnnycake Ridge Road and Mentor Avenue, and Mentor Avenue between Center Street and Cadle Avenue, are currently out of operation. Affected residents and motorists are advised that it will likely be several weeks until replacement parts are delivered, and repairs can be completed. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
