The Dog Ball is an annual fun, fancy dress dinner and activities filled fundraiser for animal lovers held on behalf of the Greater Huntsville Humane Society; a no-kill shelter dedicated to the humane care and treatment of animals. The most beloved part of The Dog Ball is getting to meet-and-pet about 50 local dogs of all varieties and breeds as well as spending an enjoyable evening with like-minded animal lovers and friends. We hope that you will join us as a volunteer on Saturday, February 5th, 2022, at Von Braun Center. There are three great volunteer opportunities… Event Day Set Up When – 9:30 until 11:30 AM, Saturday, February 5th, 2022 Where – Von Braun Center, South Hall What – Set Up Volunteers assist with decorations, silent auction displays, and other similar tasks Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended Front of House Volunteers When – 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 5th, 2022 Where – Von Braun Center, South Hall What – Front of House Volunteers assist with guest check in, serve as live auction runners, and other similar tasks Nice attire recommended A box dinner is provided Back of House Volunteers When – 5:00 until 9:30 PM, Saturday, February 5th, 2022 Where – Von Braun Center, South Hall What – Back of House Volunteers assist with pet sitting and other similar tasks Comfortable clothes and shoes recommended A box dinner is provided Note - You MUST be at least 18 years of age to serve as a back of house volunteer.
