Need help Syrian Hamster

I’m in urgent need of advice or rehoming for my sons Syrian hamster. We have been battling fleas in our household, spent over $800 in flea products, it’s been a reoccurring nightmare, and now they have made their way to the hamster. He is kept in a spare bedroom that stays closed. We have cleaned out his entire cage and tried to pick what we could off him with some tweezers. I’m worried he will become anemic and possible have sever health issues. I’ve read that mite spray will help subdue the fleas off of hamsters but I’m also seeing it can be harmful to buy in store products. I can not afford to take him to the vet at this moment. This is a tough situation for me. Please anyone that can give advice or knows about hamsters and how to handle this appropriately that can take him, please I don’t want this sweet boy falling ill I just want him to be healthy again. If I have to rehome so he can be tended to that’s fine I just don’t know what else to do at this point. Please help! Please text Bekka
