Since they've started a pit in the township of Roosevelt just south of us, they've drained our spring fed well and burned out a well pump by drawing area water to them with their enormous ground straws. Keep area water levels low, bacteria high. Made apparent by an overwhelming ammonia/manure smell that's gone through our water system... concentrated, black grease through to the drainfield. They contaminate/deplete area ground water and aquifers by using good water pulled from the ground to rinse their gravel and send it out down the creek as muddy, fast flowing top water. Just thought folks should know how these guys operate and if you ever get that letter in the mail, take time to protest because if you're a small farmer, relying on spring fed ground water, these guys will contaminate/deplete your water so you, your family and your stock will get sick/crap violently and possibly die. Our family has been here for 70 years operating with no issues. Rarely ever had to shock our well. First Olynick ran it, then you bought it. We're confident our well would recover, if you'd move off. Just because no one else in the area claims not to be affected doesn't make it doesn't make it less real for us. Why would we have any reason to lie about something like this? I've been trying to manage it on my own for this long. The well got better after we serviced it last time. But then the pumping in the pit began again. Back to square one in three months with algae, ammonia/manure smell again. I can't address it until spring. This is how it's been for us here since the pit started. Underground water here flows from North to South here as far as we've determined but not very quickly I'll bet and if you're drawing everything to you...then that's where the water is/our water goes. Consider that everyone else around here has newer, deeper wells than ours. They are on either side of where you're working. I guess the particulars of negotiating are over...looks like I have more courage and integrity than most prideful men in this country. And I don't need to boast. As I am out here fixing appliances, vehicles, whatever else pops up or bursts, changing shingles that we pay insurance company to replace because of OSHA. And now I'm well scrubbing whenever possible because some more prideful men decide not to take responsibility for a mistake they made. Funny, they think they're leaving me stuck with these things but that is not the way it is. Too sad/bad for prideful men. You've been tested and failed. More bad fruit revealed. Hope I haven't upset anyone with my words. Why did Olynick sell the pit to you. Did he know it was trouble. Did they drain someone else's well.🤔
