West of Texas Country Band Seeking Utility Player!

Meets

2327 W Palm Ln, Phoenix AZ

Description

We are currently seeking a Professional Utility player for "West of Texas" We are a newly formed Country band with a Rock and Roll attitude. This means a couple of things... We will be performing Country Music covers, Our own Original Country Music based on a rock and Roll vibe, and a few Rock and Roll covers. We are booked pretty solid this year, so a go-getter is essential to being successful. This isn't your average Country Band!!! Imagine a Garth Brooks show in his heyday, but on steroids!! We will explain more if we get that far. If you've gotten this far you may be asking what is a utility player? We would like to get someone who plays mandolin, fiddle, keys, or steel guitar...a combination of 2 of those instruments is what we are seeking. We know there are plenty of good player's out there that can definitely fill this spot. We have lots of shows coming up this year that have been booked already, so a go-getter attitude is what we are looking for, along with a team player and good attitude with PROFESSIONAL equipment, and the necessary chops to fill this position. This band is a lot of fun and is already in high demand, so we hope to hear from you soon! If you are interested please get back to us ASAP and we can go from there. We are holding auditions next week in North Scottsdale at a rehearsal studio, but after January 20th we will be getting a lockout rehearsal studio, so you would need to be able to contribute your portion of the monthly fee. (About $100) Here is a short set list that we are using for the audition phase, but will be added to the overall completed set list. 1.) Fast as you - Dwight Yoakam 2.)Boot scootin boogie - B&D 3.) Sweet child O mine & Guns and Roses 4.) Rock and roll all night - KISS 5.) You shook me - AC/DC 6.) Dirt on my boots - Jon Pardi PLEASE GET BACK WITH US ASAP SO WE CAN GET YOU IN FOR AN AUDITION!
