Thinking about starting a KC internet radio station

I am strongly thinking about starting a 24x7 internet radio station dedicated to local musicians original work. More than likely this would include pod casts, interviews and perhaps down the road live shows. If you have input on this thought thread, then please think about and email me your answers to the following thoughts/questions: 1) is there already an internet station in the KC area that I am missing? KKFI and the Bridge do a pretty good job of playing alternative broadcasting and stream, but I am not sure of a pure local stream. 2) do you have original songs laying around from 1 to 1000 that you would like to have on the internet? 3) How many originals do you have ready to upload at a moment's notice? 4) What is the current size of your band? 5) Do you have a unique perspective on music (heck there is even a Pirate Band on Craigslist!) What I am NOT trying to do is charge musicians for any type of service No fees, no crap, no gimmicks. Music would have to be original as I am not going to mess with royalties. Music would have to be rated PG - I am not going to promote obscene music. At first this would be non-profit, meaning I would lose my buttocks on the original investment, but over time it would be nice to have some income for local announcements - but that is a long, long way off Send me your honest and well thought out feedback please.
