Job Description: Deluxe Athletics is now accepting applications for full time members to work on the building and construction of athletic fields. This position will work on various athletic fields throughout the eastern coast of the United States and primarily in the Southeast region: Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. Job duties consist of, but not limited to: operating heavy equipment, fine laser grading, drainage systems, trenching, laser grading of stone bases, field work, fencing, field layouts, asphalt paving of athletic tracks and tennis courts, seaming of synthetic turf, inlays of synthetic turf, infilling synthetic turf, and general construction. Requirements: Prior experience preferred but not required in the grading or synthetic turf athletic field installation. Candidates must have a strong work ethic with the desire to learn. Must be able to follow instructions and have availability to travel and stay overnight at jobs. The ability to lead and work with a team. Candidate must be able to adapt to various weather conditions, work long hours and weekends. Must be able to work in outdoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather, work a flexible schedule, have a valid driver’s license and social security card, as well as pass a background check. Willingness to use and operate various pieces of equipment. Carry, lift, and or hold 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods of time. Punctual, courteous, reliable, communicative, and responsible. Ability to get to and from the meeting location as directed for overnight travel in company provided transportation Compensation: Ranging from $15.00 - $25.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Travel per diem daily Overtime compensation available Bonus Compensation Programs available Benefits: After the orientation period of 90 consecutive working days of employment, personnel at any level or branch of the organization are eligible for the company’s health, dental, and vision insurance programs.
