Hi! I am searching for a Guitarist to add to a project. We are all in our mid 20's, located in Portland, and have lots of music experience. The sound we are going for has a bit of a shoegazy/noisy/psychedelic/saucy vibe that dits on top of some catchy, more dancy tunes, and we could use a second Guitarist to provide said sauce. Some influences for this project would be Spirit of the Beehive, Alex G, Yves Tumor, Wednesday, Jay Som, but the people collaborating have backgrounds in r&b, jazz, folk rock, funk, and more. We are in the process of laying down some demos, but have had some technical/covid related setbacks, so I don't have anything I can post right now. However, we may have some soon if you are curious. We are hoping to start gigging as soon as we can and also may be working towards some substantial recordings to release. I definitely like to gig a bit with a group before spending too much time in the studio so that will be the first priority. If you have experience pushing pedals, or enjoy gazing at your shoes a lot, and want to join some talented, driven musicians this could be your dream project! We are also definitely open to creative input if it's the right fit, so if any of this sounds interesting let me know!
