To meet our goals to continuously improve our portfolio and tenant experiences, we are looking to bring one to two more motivated people onto our team. We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of properties. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC repair, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. We are open to candidates who may not have experience in all fields, so that you can grow together with ME. Responsibilities Repair, maintain, and improve areas of tenant spaces in response to work orders or preventative maintenance plans Perform maintenance of common areas and grounds, such as replacing bulbs, repainting, cleaning litter, and improving landscaping Coordinate with office staff to meet tenant demands and thoroughly communicate strategies to resolve work orders Proactively inspect properties and perform repairs when needed Prepare down units for new tenants Apply pesticides and other pest control measures Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician or experience in more than one related field Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work as needed High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Suitable background as related to criminal and financial history Benefits Competitive salary/pay Tremendous growth opportunity Generous performance based bonuses Employee ownership program opportunities based on performance Investment compensation program Flexible paid time off Designated paid holiday time off Paid sick leave Paid volunteer time to give back to the community Pet friendly workplace Employee discount program for rent and investments Property acquisition commission program Paid company outings Medical/Dental/Vision referral network partners Employee travel and hotel reward/discount program Discount programs with our network of vendors And more!
