Carpenter/General Laborer Job Posting This is a great opportunity for long term employment with room to Grow and Excel! We are a construction management company looking for a full-time employee to handle maintenance on our main office in North Stonington as well as periodic maintenance visits to our satellite offices. To thrive in this role, you’ll need the ability to follow instructions within a team or by yourself, be self-motivated with a high urgency to help others, communicate well, and be highly organized. We are looking for an individual who isn’t afraid to work hard and to take initiative to learn. Remodeling or construction trades experience is preferred. Carpentry skills with experience using basic carpentry tools is required. General knowledge of electrical, auto mechanics and plumbing/HVAC is a plus. Interior and exterior general maintenance is required. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to problem solve as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude is required. Reliable transportation is a must along with a cell phone. Minimum experience and education - solid work history and experience in remodeling & using carpentry tools, high school diploma or GED. Job Type: Full-time - Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 an hour - Commensurate on experience. Gas/mileage reimbursement.
