Merion Golf Club is seeking a Full-time Horticulturalist to maintain our Clubhouse gardens and surroundings. Responsibilities include trimming, watering, weeding and planting. Individual should be a garden enthusiast who enjoys working outdoors with the upkeep of the Club’s landscape. Team Merion is a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work community. Has experience in but not limited to mulching, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, planting etc. 2. Has experience with motorized hand tools and backpack blowers. 3. Ability to design and plan/plant bulbs and annuals and be responsible for the seasonal care of said materials. 4. Has a positive attitude and is a self-starter, someone that will anticipate the needs of the club and the landscape and take pride in his/her work. 5. The ability to lift 50 lbs. and spend an extended period of time kneeling, lifting, bending, standing, walking, and climbing. 6. Willingness to work outside in harsh weather conditions i.e., rain, extreme heat/cold, exposure to poison ivy and biting insects. 7. Must have reliable transportation. Merion Golf Club is a private golf club in Ardmore, PA, established in 1896. The Club's internationally renowned East Course is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation and No. 12 in the world. The East Course has hosted more USGA championships than any other golf course in America, and is home to some of history's greatest golf moments.
