The dog was a stray that was found at my husband's job. At the beginning he was so scared that he wouldn't let my husband touch him. He is beaten up and starving. We brought him home because a rescue was supposed to be taking him today and they are now saying they don't have room. We have had him here since Thursday. In that amount of time we have gotten him to act like a completely different dog. He is very calm and loves people. He doesn't pull on a leash but he is super cautious and slow when walking in new areas. He is completely housebroken. Loves to be with you all day and sleep under the covers with you at night. He is really a great dog and I'm sure he will look amazing when he gains some weight and heals up and I'm sure his personality will continue to blossom. He just needs help. I was trying to be the one to provide that help but I have chickens/bunny so unfortunately the amount of help I can offer him has run out. He is a sweet boy and very full of love when he trusts you. (His trust can absolutely be bought with food lol) He can come with his new collar and a big bag of dog food. He is dog and kid friendly but he is not chicken/rabbit friendly.
