Live Music at Nō ft. Brijon + Troy Tyler Live Music at Nō ft. Brijon + Troy TylerFriday, January 21st at Nō StudiosDoors open at 7:00pm CT | Music starts at 8:00pm CTBRIJONFrom the moment her mother heard her singing opera from their living room at the gentle age of 3, it was clear that the young girl possessed the ability to be great. Milwaukee native, BriJon, was blessed with the gift of music at an extremely young age and has worked on perfecting her craft ever since. The singer/songwriter strengthened her skill by performing songs at her local church and school as soon as she could speak. Not only had she excelled in the vocal performing arts, but danced locally and nationally, competing nationwide and even became heavily skilled with instruments such as the violin, piano and guitar. After a prolonged period of pain and growth, the singing sensation has honed in on this gift of hers and approached her craft with an entirely different perspective than before. Now, the R&B singer pushes the envelope and promotes a sound that is unique to the music scene. BriJon’s "Call on Me" uplifts the soul and touches the hearts of a world filled with pain and uncertainty. While “Ready or Not” allows for fluidity within her sexuality and an openness that is often frowned upon. Since these releases, BriJon has remained focused, putting in countless hours into shaping her voice and sound into the complete reflection of who she is today. 2022 will introduce a new side of her, her creative mind, and R&B as a whole. Instagram TROY TYLERTroy Tyler, a native of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, has always had an obsession with music. His father, a musician in his own right, would always sing with Troy when he was younger, taking the lower notes while Troy took the high notes. Back then, he would sing for anyone who would listen because he knew that was the best way to perfect his craft. Now Troy Tyler releases music the entire world enjoys. "90's R&B," his biggest hit to date, with well over a Million streams on Spotify is just one tiny part of his deep catalog. However, creating and releasing music is just one facet of Troy's overall appeal. He's graced the small screen as a backup singer for Rick Ross' NPR Tiny Desk performance, where he stood out as a soulful and experienced singer. He also sang original music in front of 17k+ people at a Charlotte Hornets game. A couple of months ago, Troy was featured in a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Black Hollywood article that explored his connection to the city of Atlanta and capped off the year with an impromptu Millennium Tour performance that went viral. Troy has continued writing, focusing on song structure, and perfecting his craft and is eagerly awaiting 2022 to release a slew of new music. "These last few years haven't been easy but were imperative for my growth not only as an artist and a singer but also as a person. But now I'm ready for the spotlight." Instagram
