Rosie the Riveter Tea Party On May 21, 2022, the Westland Historic Village will host its 2nd Annual Rosie the Riveter Tea Party. The Willow Run Chapter of the Rosie the Riveter Association will be in attendance as we celebrate the lives of real life Rosies. Seating is limited to 20 guests. Tickets are available on eventbrite.com for $40. Guests will be treated to a variety of tea, finger sandwiches, pastries and scones. After the tea party guests are welcome to attend the Rose Bush Dedication in our Rose Garden. Six new rose bushes will join the seven already in the garden to symbolize six new individual or groups of women helped during World War II by either working in a factory or helped the war effort in some other way. The Westland Historic Village Park is a community museum that collects and preserves items and documents that tells the history of Westland.
