Overweight and obese volunteers needed for cardiovascular study!

The Nutrition and Exercise Physiology Department is recruiting overweight and obese men and women who are otherwise healthy, non-nicotine users between the ages of 18-45 for a research study examining the effect of low oxygen (similar to sleep apnea) on individuals. This study has one 30-minute screen visit via Zoom and one 4-hour research visit in MU-PAW (Gwynn Hall). Participants will be compensated for their time, effort and be provided with blood test and body composition results. Due to COVID-19, a number of precautions are in place to protect the health and safety for all individuals involved in research at MU.
