Join Columbus Gives Back selling 50/50 tickets to raise money for the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation The Columbus Blue Jackets are in need of enthusiastic volunteers to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at the hockey game vs. the Ottawa Senators on Sunday, January 23rd. All you have to do is sell raffle tickets and enjoy a hockey game. Free entry and your shift is over after the second intermission! This is a very fun opportunity to support the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation and their missions to fund the fight against pediatric cancer, education through literacy, health and safety, and youth hockey! When: Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd. Columbus, OH 43215 Arrival & Parking: Please eat before you arrive. When you do, volunteeers can receive parking at a discounted rate at Lots H, S, R, and F. Volunteers should arrive inside the doors at the McConnell Street Entrance by 3:30pm. A member of our staff will be there to greet you and escort you to our 50/50 room on the main concourse. Dress Code: Comfortable shoes (as you will be standing for several hours) and layered clothing. Aprons will be provided. Coats/hats/gloves can be stored in the 50/50 hub during the game, but large purses or backpacks are not allowed in the arena per the bag policy. Volunteers should NOT wear items representing other NHL teams. Wearing CBJ apparel is recommended but not required. COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Per City of Columbus guidelines, all volunteers must wear a mask for the duration of their volunteer hours inside Nationwide Arena. About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: This match has a scheduled start time of 6:00pm. You may stay for the match or you may leave the arena after you have completed the final sync after the third period has started.
