In this workshop, you will learn basic woodworking skills while constructing a serving tray out of reclaimed wood and hardware. Serve your guests (or yourself) at your Super Bowl celebration on a sustainable serving tray made by you! In this workshop, you will learn basic woodworking skills while constructing a serving tray out of reclaimed wood and drawer pulls/cabinet handles (optional). Tools used in this workshop are the chop saw and nail gun. The dimensions for this project are approximately 18" long x 12" wide x 2" tall. *We will use materials currently available in the warehouse so the look of finished projects may vary from the photo. Note: If the ticket type you want is not available, we may be able to accommodate! Email [email protected] to ask. WORKSHOP POLICIES LOGISTICS • Saturday workshop participants please park along Hartrey St. or in the lot at the southwest corner of Dempster and Hartrey. • This workshop is 18+ • All materials are included in the workshop fee. • Please wear closed toe shoes with a flat heel and avoid loose jewelry or baggy clothing. We will also be in a warehouse, so dress appropriately. Bring a shop apron if you have one. We have ear and eye protection available but you are welcome to bring your own. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES • If you can’t make it to a class, you can transfer your ticket to someone 18 or older. Just email [email protected] with their name and email address. • If the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule. • We do not currently offer other refunds or transfers between classes. STUDENT SAFETY DURING COVID Your safety is our highest priority at The Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, so we have put safety protocols in place for all of our in-person workshops to keep everyone safe. Those protocols are: Reduced class sizes (no more than 8 participants in a class).All instructors, assistants, and participants will be required to wear masks while attending workshops (we do not have enough masks to provide to everyone, so you will be required to provide your own mask).Social distancing will be implemented when possible and appropriate.All of the tools, equipment, door handles, cabinet and drawer handles, etc. that are touched will be disinfected both before and after the workshop.
