Mid-Valley Staffing is currently recruiting for skilled labor for an industrial contractor! This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent for the right candidates. This position primarily involves demolition during an annual outage at a mill. The position will involve running portband saws, metabos, cutting torches, plasma torches, rigging equipment, etc. The outage involves long hours, with several days in a row. (14-16 consecutive potentially). In addition, this position may include setup and clean up of welding machines, assisting welders with fabrication and or pipe fitting, clean up of job sites, assisting millwright with maintenance on equipment, doing firewatch or hole watch! The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation to get to the job sites, previous experience with industrial construction, as well as the stamina and reliability to work long hours in both hot and cold environments. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test. For consideration for permanent work, the ideal candidate will have the ability to travel and stay in company provided hotels if job sites are outside the area, with per Diem provided. This position will require working 10-12 hours daily! Position started immediately.
