She needs a better fit. This adorable black and white mug belongs to our pit mix, Nelson. She'll be 4 in March. She's in great health, up to date on her vaccines, takes heartworm/flea preventative and is spayed. We're very sad to be looking for a new family for her. She's not an escape artist. She loves our kids and gets along with our indoor cats. She's responsible about food and eats from an automatic feeder with no problem. She loves a good snuggle and will play tug of war all day. She walks well on a leash in a harness because her neck is so thick she can slip out of her collar. Her issues are: she's bored here. She plays too rough with our older dog and chews on things she shouldn't when she's not watched. She was doing better when my boys were able to walk her a couple times a day, but between the long school days and extra curricular activities, they don't have the time. I can't walk her because I don't leave the house. I play with her in the backyard, but it's not enough for her. We've kept her this long because we all love her and hoped she'd calm down. I think she needs a home where she'd be an only dog or with a very active dog. She wouldn't be a good match for a family with small children. She's not rough, but she is clumsy. She has a habit of bumping into the back of your knees if she thinks you're in her way. She doesn't have the typical bully breed gas and drooling issues. If you have any questions or think you might like to meet her, send me a message. We really want her to be happy. She's a sweetheart.
