Selections from I'M AT YOUR WINDOW, a hip hop musical based on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, adapted and directed by Jay Are Adams. Join us at Alchemy - Providence on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for selections from I'M AT YOUR WINDOW, a WHAT FRAY WAS HERE?: SOCIAL JUSTICE SHAKESPEARE production! I'M AT YOUR WINDOW is a hip hop musical based on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, set in an urban environment in the aftermath of George Floyd's death. The I'M AT YOUR WINDOW team is in the process of work-shopping this musical and will be performing throughout New England over the coming months to learn and rework based on artist and audience feedback. This performance of I'M AT YOUR WINDOW is adapted and directed by Jay Are Adams with music by Dan Pomfret and Jay Are Adams. Our talented singers will be taking on 5 scenes in a lively, "staged-reading" format, complete with a brief audience talkback with our artistic team. Doors: 6:00pm; Start: 7:00pm Tickets: $10 in advance/$15 at the door All proceeds will be used as compensation for artists involved with this performance.
