This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the SCLC-GKC Chapter and we invite you to the Interfaith Service! The 2022 Interfaith Service is sponsored by The Southern Christian Leadership Conference and The Jewish Community Relations Bureau / American Jewish Committee. The service is hosted by Community Christian Church on behalf of the interfaith community of Greater Kansas City. This year's keynote speaker is SCLC-GKC's President Emeritus and U.S Representative, 5th Congressional District as well as a Minister of the United Methodist Church, Emanuel Cleaver, II. We are looking forward to a great service and will recognize three deserving individuals of the Evelyn Wasserstrom Award: Rabbi Doug Albert, Anita Russell, and Patricia Jones Macklin.
