Part time help on a farm

We are a small farm and animal rescue in Columbus, we’ve only just started a few months ago and it’s just the two of us. Building from the ground up has not been easy and we are exhausted to say the least. We have tons of animal housing we still need to build as well as fencing and overall maintenance. The high winds have really done a number on us and a great deal of things have blown from the property out into the surrounding acreage. We really need help getting our daily tasks under control and picking up all of this trash and debris scattered everywhere. As well as getting organized in general. Between the two of us we don’t have enough energy left to get it all done and that’s where we need help. We’re looking for one or two people of any age willing to come help us pick up, spread hay, help get fencing put up, and assist with our building projects. This would be a really great part time job for someone wanting to make some extra cash or a student wanting a job after school where they can control their own schedule. We won’t ever ask you to work after the sun starts going down. It’s just too dark and too cold to accomplish much of anything. Everyone is put to bed at sunset so that’s when outdoor work is cut off. Right now we can offer $10/hour for as often as you can come help out. If you aren’t comfortable with anything such as helping with fencing or working with the animals we understand and there’s plenty of other things you could help out with. All of our animals are incredibly sweet and friendly (except one goose, he’s just mean lol) so you don’t need to worry about any of them being dangerous or getting bitten or anything like that. To be honest we really just need an extra pair of hands around here even if it’s just picking up all the stuff that the wind spread out or putting hay down in the animal areas.
