The Sarasota Brass Quintet presents a 1-hour program of chamber music and popular fare! On the Road with SO: Parks & Partners features the Sarasota Brass Quintet performing your favorite chamber music pieces in the beautiful outdoor setting of The Bay’s Civic Green, located on the north side of the Municipal Auditorium. We encourage you to bring a chair or outdoor blanket, sunscreen, bug spray, and something cool to drink (non-alcoholic beverages, only). Capacity will be limited to 150 attendees within the designated concert area. Parking is available in the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center lot, accessible from 10th Street, and in the Sarasota Orchestra parking lot. This program will include similar or the same selections as other Parks & Partners performances by the Sarasota Brass Quintet. Sarasota Orchestra encourages audience members to follow CDC guidelines for outdoor events to maximize safety at these public concerts. We recommend wearing a mask at outdoor concerts if you cannot physically distance at least six feet apart from people who aren’t in your household. We look forward to sharing great music with you! The 80-member Orchestra performs more than 100 classical, pops and family concerts each year, and thrives as the oldest continuing orchestra in the state of Florida.
