Join us for a day of service as we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by helping beautify the Adamsville Corridor. We hope that you will join The Launch Pad Foundation in collaboration with Ronald Blue Trust, The Path Church, Be A Peace Maker Inc. and The Best Academy for a day of service in honor of the late-great Martin Luther King Jr. Chick-fil-A sandwich's will be on hand for lunch as well as snacks and other refreshments. We provide everything needed for this event. (Just missing you!) Pickers, work gloves, and traffic vest will be available for sign out. Please follow all Covid-19 protocols directed by the CDC. Mask are strongly encouraged and will be on hand. Hand sanitizer and Purell wipes will be available to you, use as often as possible during this event. We would love to see you there however, if you are feeling ill on the day of the event please stay home and consult with a doctor. The Launch Pad Foundation supports: Keep Our Community. With Keep Our Community we strive to Keep Our Community Clean, Safe, and Thriving. Clean - by encouraging everyone to do their part by placing trash in the appropriate receptacles. We host a monthly community clean up. The monthly clean-up focuses on the neighborhoods surrounding Martin Luther King Jr Drive. Safe - by partnering with local law enforcement officers, our neighbors and city officials to share safety best practices. Thriving - A thriving community consists of people, businesses and schools that are healthy. This is accomplished through volunteering at local schools, supporting local businesses, and creating sustainable lifestyles. By Keeping Our Community Clean, Safe and Thriving we reduce crime, improve property values and the quality of life.
