SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Christmas trees left out for curbside pick up will be collected in Swampscott next week.
Residents can leave trees out on their regular trash day beginning on Jan. 10.
Trees must be free of ornaments, lights, tree stands, plastic bags, tinsel and garland.
"To avoid blocking the sidewalk or the tree blowing into the street, please do not put out your tree until the night before your scheduled pick-up," town officials said.
