Join us at the first session of the opening of Invisible, an exhibition curated by Jill Kearney featuring the work of twelve artists Please join us to celebrate the opening of Invisible on the evening of Saturday, January 15. You can register for free timed tickets to experience Invisible and hear opening remarks by Curator Jill Kearney, ArtYard’s founder and executive director. Masks and proof of vaccination and valid identification are required to attend. No refreshments will be served. This page reserves a spot to attend the reception during the 5 to 6:30 PM time block. The 6:30 to 8 PM time block is currently sold out. ____________________________________________________________________________________ ArtYard is pleased to present Invisible, an exhibition featuring the work of twelve artists whose practices examine omitted histories, imperceptible forces, and unspoken narratives which render that which is apparent, misleading, or incomplete. In illuminating invisible forms of labor, unspoken emotional states, and unnoticed effects of human presence, the exhibition examines what the author Svetlana Alexievich calls “the missing history — the invisible imprint of our stay on Earth and in time.” The exhibition is curated by Jill Kearney and features Monica Banks, Willie Cole, Phebe Macrae Corcoran, Vasiliki Katsarou, sTo Len, Kaitlin Pomerantz, Kelly Popoff, Sandra Ramos, Gabrielle Senza, Pavel Urkiza, Kawita Vatanajyankur, and Natalija Vujošević.
