MILFORD, MA — The Milford Board of Health will kick off 2022 with a coronavirus vaccine clinic offering three types of shots. The Wednesday clinic will take place at the Milford Senior Center, 60 North Bow St., beginning at 2:30 p.m. The clinic is by appointment only, and slots were going fast on Monday evening. Massachusetts has seen a major surge in coronavirus cases over the last few weeks, with the state reporting more than 31,000 new cases just over the weekend. Health officials say the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines — and booster shots — are the best way to protect against serious complications related to COVID-19.
