Press release from the City of Oak Creek: 01/03/2022 1:00 PM The Oak Creek Public Library is hosting a number of free Story Times for children, tweens, and teens during the months of January and February. Some of these programs require registration. Please see below for each program's registration start and end dates. Then, find out more by visiting the library's events calendar, in person at 8040 S. 6th St., or over the phone by calling 414-766-7900 Music & Movement Location: Virtual Mondays, Jan. 17th - Feb. 14th, 10:30 - 10:50 a.m. Join us on Zoom for Online Story Time! This 20-minute interactive Story Time is geared toward children ages 2-5, with an adult. We'll be incorporating music and movement into all books, songs, and rhymes. Registration is recommended and begins Monday, January 3. Baby Story Time Location: Story Time Room Tuesdays, Jan. 18th - Feb. 15th, 9:30 - 9:50 a.m. OR 10:30 - 10:50 a.m. This 20 minute Story Time is geared toward children ages birth to 24 months, with an adult (siblings welcome). It incorporates short stories, songs, and lapsit rhymes. Registration is not required. Each session will be limited to the first 10 families. Check-in at the Children's Service Desk upon arrival. Please only attend one time slot per day. Toddler Story Time Location: Story Time Room Wednesdays, Jan. 19th - Feb. 16th, 9:30 - 9:50 a.m. OR 10:30 - 10:50 a.m. This 20 minute Story Time is geared toward children ages 2-3, with an adult (siblings welcome). It incorporates stories, songs, and rhymes. Registration is not required. Each session will be limited to the first 10 families. Check-in at the Children's Service Desk upon arrival.
