GLEN COVE, NY — A motorist had to be rescued through the front windshield last week when the vehicle she was driving smashed into a parked car and flipped on its side, officials said.
It happened shortly after 12 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27.
The City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Coles Street. And upon arrival, they found a Subaru on its side with the driver trapped inside, a fire department spokesperson told Patch.
The unidentified woman was conscious when she was rescued, according to the spokesperson, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The spokesperson could not confirm any other details about the incident.
