The organizers will accept submissions of paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures, or mixed media exhibits through Jan. 31. Each artist may submit up to five pieces for exhibition at the event in July. (WKBW-TV)A new program celebrating the diverse cultural history of Buffalo's riverfront communities will debut this summer. The Riverline Initiative is a collaboration between the Western New York Land Conservancy and local artists and is designed to encourage residents of the Valley, Old First Ward, and Perry neighborhoods to tell their stories.
