The Hot Rod Service Company is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with an interest in all types of automobiles with an emphasis on classic American muscle cars. Our job is to repair, restore, and customize classic vehicles and hot rods. The ideal candidate will have experience in general automotive maintenance and parts inventory. The candidate needs to work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision. The job will involve maintaining general shop cleanliness, daily detailing and cleaning of current projects, and basic auto parts inventory and parts identification. We need someone with the skills, attention to detail, and organization to be able to handle every job assigned to them from start to finish. Job Duties will include (but are not limited to) • Independently maintain shop cleanliness by general of cleaning of dust, debris, and fluid around cars and shop equipment. • Organize day to day tasks with minimal supervision to maintain showroom level shop condition. • Daily dusting and detailing of cars to maintain overall appearance and condition of paint. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop equipment and tools. • Support senior technicians by picking parts from shop inventory and storing parts for future use. • Assist parts manager with receiving and inventory of incoming parts. • Work with senior technicians to complete various maintenance and diagnostic tasks related to ongoing projects. • Delivery and pickup of parts at vendors in the area. • Keep a clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees. Qualifications/Requirements • Exemplary organization and attention to detail. • General knowledge of classic automobiles ideal. • Ability to follow written and verbal directions. • Must be able to work in a team environment and have good communication skills. • Ability to lift 25-100lbs. • Ability to stand for entirety of shift. • Repetitive bending, reaching, pulling, and lifting. • Must have a valid driver’s license Benefits & Compensation • Competitive salary commensurate with experience • Medical, Dental, Life Insurance • PTO and Holidays
