POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough Department of Public Works will begin curbside collection of Christmas trees on Jan. 10. Borough officials said the collection will cover the entire town several times. Trees also can be taken to the recycling center for dropoff in the brush bin. Call the public works department at 732-892-1287 with any questions. If you're looking to recycle it, you also can take it to one of Ocean County's parks, including Beaver Dam County Park, 3430 Bridge Ave. The county turns holiday trees into wood chips that are available to homeowners in Ocean County.
