Tax evasion/fraud is theft. Tax evasion is a crime. Often it is a felony. Dodging your taxes is no different than stealing. Although the victims when you evade your taxes are your fellow taxpayers. A person cannot be FOR law and order and then commit white collar crimes. In the eyes off the law, failing to pay owed taxes is no different than robbing a post office. This is why people who fail to pay their taxes often go to jail. Morals matter. As a citizen of the United States, you are obligated to pay income taxes.
