Get free tax help from AARP IRS-certified volunteers who offer free tax counseling and preparation services to millions of taxpayers with special attention to elderly and low-to-moderate income taxpayers. There are a limited number of free tax counseling appointments available between February 1 - April 15.
Registration is required and begins January 4. After registering, it is important that you complete an intake form prior to your appointment. Please print your own, opens a new window or visit the library to pick up a printed copy.
AARP asks that you use the following checklist as a reminder of the items you need to bring to your appointment.
