Here are the top 3 stories in Franklin today: The newly renovated McLemore House African-American Museum on 11th Avenue in Franklin's Hard Bargain neighborhood is ready for its spring reopening. With a $50,000 grant from the Tennessee Historical Commission, as well as additional donations bringing the grand total to over $125,000, the house received a total interior and exterior restoration. The McLemore House African-American Museum will reopen for public tours in early spring 2022; admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and children 12 and younger. (williamsonherald.com)The CDC has listed Tennessee in the "high" category for flu activity, a statistic that comes as the area sees an increase in flu hospitalizations. The flu cases and hospitalizations are presenting similarly to COVID-19 cases in Middle Tennessee and across the country.
