For several years, Honey Moon Coffee Company has served their inventive lattes and creative bubble waffles to shoppers on Burkhardt road and college students on Weinbach Avenue.
Now, owners Zac and Jessica Parsons are expanding one town over to historic downtown Newburgh. The couple announced the development in a Facebook post saying they had saved their happiest news for the last day of 2021.
Honey Moon Coffee will be going into the current Ben and Penny's Ice Cream Shop which has been part of the small business community in Newburgh for many years.
In the announcement, the Parsons thanked Ben and Penny for their years of serving sweet treats to those paying a visit to the riverfront and Newburgh shops. They say they hope to continue that legacy.
A grand opening of Honey Moon Newburgh is scheduled for this spring.
