Agate Asphalt is looking to hire 3-4 more employees for this coming year. We are a family owned and operated asphalt paving company located in Poulsbo, WA. Founded in 2006, we are now a company of roughly 30 employees. At Agate Asphalt, we have basically two sides of the company, Paving Prep work and the paving crew. We are looking to build another prep crew to get jobs ready ahead of the paving crew, and always looking for more hands on the paving side. Laborers: Starting Wage $17.00 + - No experience needed but appreciated - Shoveling, raking, tamping, wacker plate, grade checker - Need to be team players, dependable, on-time, and hard working Operators: Starting Wage $20-35.00 depending on experience) - Dirt Side (Excavators, Skid Steers, Graders, Rollers, Cold Planer attachment) - Paving Crew (Paver Operators, Roller Operators, Screed Operators) Benefits: - Medical, Vision and dental. Company pays 75% of medical, employee pays 25%. Dental and vision 100% covered. - 6 Paid Holidays - Vacation time 1-3 weeks depending on length of employment.
