Description
We are currently accepting applicants for technicians, apprentices, interns, and crew chiefs for our professional racing team.
There are opportunities and training programs available in all aspects of automotive race prep and trackside service for the upcoming 2022 season.
Mechanical experience, fabrication, CDL, welding experience, engine/gearbox skills or ASE certifications are a plus. We maintain Formula Mazda's, Pro Mazda's, Indy Lights and Indy Cars as well as Mazda Miata's and other race cars.
Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
We have positions available on both our "home" crew located on Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL and on our "travel" crew for this upcoming season.
These positions will require some weekend availability and may also include some weekend travel four to six times a season.
You must be willing to learn, take directions to work independently, but also be a positive team player.
Professional appearance and people skills are imperative.
Ideal applicants must also be able to complete organized, detailed notes regarding the services that are performed on the cars by the technician.
